[알고리즘] Java로 구현하는 쉬운 Merge Sort (병합 정렬, 합병 정렬) 알고리즘을 시작할 때 가장 먼저 배워야 할 것은 정렬, 즉 sorting이라고 생각한다. 버블 정렬, 선택 정렬, 퀵 정렬 등 많은 정렬이 있지만, 내가 사용하는 것은 병합 정렬이다. 병합 정렬(=합병 정렬)의 시간복잡도는 O(nlogn)인데, 왜 이 시간 복잡도가 나오는지 먼저 알아보자. 병합 정렬은, 원소가 저장되어 있는 배열을 계속 쪼개서 길이가 1인 배열을 만들고, 그 이후 정렬하면서 합치는 알고리즘이다. [후기] Microsoft Student Partner (MSP) 추천! MSP (Microsoft Student Partner) 란 컴퓨터학과 학생들이 모여서 MS의 기술을 세미나를 통해 소개하는 활동을 하는 대외활동이다. 이 활동을 2학년 2학기부터 했는데 정원은 한 50명쯤 되는 것 같다. 여러 대학교에서 컴퓨터학과 학생들이 모인다. [후기] 챗봇 2차 세미나(실습) 후기 11월 12일에 MSP 2차 챗봇 세미나를 끝으로 에반젤리즘 활동이 종료되었다. 2차 세미나는 1차에 참석했던 분들께 우선 신청권을 드리고, 1차 세미나에 대기였던 분들께 그다음으로 기회를 드렸다. 그래서 따로 홍보를 하지 않아도 금방 인원이 다 찼다. 1차 때 개론과 간단한 방법에 대해서 설명했다면 2차 때는 개론을 줄이고 실습을 진행하였다. 1시부터 1시30분까지 등록을 받고, 1시 30분부터 2시까지 Microsoft 차장님의 간단한 봇 프레임워크에 대한 인트로가 있었다. 그 이후 6시까지 쭉 실습을 진행하였다. 1차, 2차 세미나를 통해 느낀 점은, No show는 대기자분들께 피해를 주는 거라고 사정이 생기면 꼭 불참 의사를 밝혀달라고 말씀드렸으나 항상 전체 인원의 30% 정도는 no show가.. 공감수 1 댓글수 2 2017. 11. 15.

[Deep Learning] CS231n "1X1 Convolution" 이란? 오늘 수업에서 1*1 Convolution에 대해서 다뤘다. 먼저 1*1 Convolution을 사용하면 필터의 개수가 몇 개 인지에 따라 output의 dimension은 달라지지만, 원래 가로 세로의 사이즈는 그대로 유지된다. 그래서 filter 의 개수를 원래 input의 dimension 보다 작게 하면, dimension reduction의 효과가 난다. 원래 image 쪽에서 Convolution layer는 "Spatial Relation"을 고려하여 이 image가 어떤 image인지 패턴을 통해 파악하는 용도인데, 1*1 사이즈를 사용한다는 것은 한 픽셀만 고려하기 때문에 패턴 인식보다는 dimension reduction이라는 전처리 용도로 생각해야 한다.
